Our Studio Assessments

A Moment of Pride for Our Ballet Family...
We are thrilled to share the wonderful success of our students who recently took part in their studio assessments this April. These assessments were conducted by the inimitable Monique Rockcliff, whose wealth of experience and deep knowledge of ballet brought such incredible insight and professionalism to our exam day. We were truly fortunate to have her with us, and her presence elevated the entire experience.
Our students made us so incredibly proud, achieving a 100% pass rate—with all receiving prestigious silver and gold medals! This is no small feat and speaks volumes about their dedication, discipline, and love for the art of ballet.
Examinations like these are a vital part of a ballet dancer’s journey. Ballet has always been an art form rooted in elegance, sophistication, and discipline. These qualities are not only seen on stage but are also deeply instilled through the structure and rigor of graded assessments. Assessments allow our dancers to build a solid technical foundation while also developing a deep appreciation for the artistry of ballet in all its forms—not just performance.
As teachers, both Angela and Lisa feel incredibly honoured and proud in moments like these. They are a true testament to the hard work, long hours, and love poured into each class, rehearsal, and correction. Seeing our dancers shine and receiving valuable feedback from an examiner of Monique’s calibre means the world to us. It allows our students to be seen for the lovely, unique individuals they are, and it gives our studio’s commitment to the art of ballet the spotlight it deserves.
